Hi! I am Lauren, a newborn, family, and portrait photographer servicing Chicago and the surrounding suburbs. I am a mom and former teacher, so needless to say I get kiddos! It is such a joy to capture life's special moments, milestones and events. My shoots are designed to meet your vision, and present you with images that you will cherish forever. 

My approach when shooting is playful and engaging. I like to help everyone feel comfortable in front of my camera. I will position you in flattering poses, then direct you into cute interactions. My hope is this makes your sessions FUN and alleviate some of the stress. If we are shooting a family session we let the kids be kids. The little in between moments like giggles, hugs and laughs are the images I end up loving the most.

Many times clients ask me for ideas on what to wear to photoshoots. Years from now, when looking back at these pictures you want them to be timeless. So when deciding on outfits to coordinate, think of classic, soft, solid colors. You want the main focus to be just that, you!
